Blue tape is used to seal the print heads of ink cartridges after refilling.Using blue tape protects the print head from ink drying and contamination.  Hence, when you remove it, the cartridge is always ready for printing immediately.

Blue Tape can be applied to all type of cartridges with print heads.  “Remove Blue Tape” labels are used in conjunction to remove it before fixing the ink cartridge to printers.
